Wel leverde het terrein in ten opzichte van de nummers 2 en 3, HPE\/Aruba en Fortinet die beiden hun penetratie\u00a0 zagen groeien. Dit blijkt uit een marktanalyse van Smart Profile waarvoor bijna 4.000 beslissers van Nederlandse organisaties met meer dan 50 medewerkers zijn ondervraagd naar het gebruik van routers, switches, hardware firewalls en wifi-apparatuur.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fortinet groeit ten koste van Cisco <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De positie van Cisco op de gehele netwerkmarkt lag in 2013 nog op een penetratie van 83,1 procent, maar daalde de laatste jaren tot 73,3%. Fortinet is de partij uit de top 5 die de meest duidelijke groei laat zien. Zagen we in 2013 netwerkapparatuur van deze vendor bij 3,4 procent van de locaties, nu is dat meer dan verdubbeld tot 9,5 procent.<\/p>\n<p>Als we de marktsegmentatie uit de analyse van Smart Profile nader bekijken, zijn nog wel wat verschillen te zien. Zo ligt het gebruik van Cisco duidelijk het hoogst bij bedrijfslocaties van multinationals. 91,6% van deze organisaties gebruikt in Nederland netwerkapparatuur van Cisco. In het publieke domein en bij middelgrote bedrijven (50-250 medewerkers) komt Cisco relatief wat minder vaak voor met een penetratie van 66% . In 2019 heeft 41,5% van de ondervraagde locaties deze in huis. Cisco en Fortinet voeren deze markt aan met respectievelijk 29,3% en 20,4% van de markt. Dell EMC neemt 10,3% voor zijn rekening en Juniper 7,2%. Cisco heeft al jaren het grootste deel van deze markt in handen. Dit was vorig jaar nog bijna 80%. De markt voor routers was op zijn hoogtepunt in 2015 toen bijna 90% van de ondervraagde organisaties aangaf router-apparatuur te gebruiken. Ook op dit gebied is Cisco leidend met 76,8% van de markt. HPE\/Aruba neemt 14,5% van de router-markt voor zijn rekening en de andere vendoren hebben elk niet meer dan 2% van de markt. Interessant is te zien dat Huawei bezig is aan een gestage opmars in de markt voor router-apparatuur. We komen ze tegen bij circa 90% van de ondervraagde locaties. De analyse van Smart Profile laat zien dat bijna 60% van de gebruikte switches door Cisco worden geleverd. Bijna 34% betreft een HPE\/Aruba switch en Huawei maakt de top-3 af met 1,4 van de geleverde switches in Nederland. Na een lichte daling in 2017 is er nu weer een stijgende lijn van het aantal locaties met WiFi-apparatuur. Van het totale aantal in gebruik zijnde systemen betreft \u00a047,4 procent een Cisco product. HPE\/Aruba volgt op enige afstand met 19,8 procent en Aerohive is de derde partij op de Nederlandse markt met een aandeel van\u00a0 10,2 procent..<\/p>\n<p>Juniper lijkt de laatste jaren terrein te verliezen op het gebied van wireless netwerk apparatuur. Waar het aandeel enige jaren rond de 4 procent lag, lijkt het in de laatste 3 jaar gedaald tot de huidige 2 procent.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
