Aan de stille opmars van de laptop lijkt een einde gekomen nu het aandeel de afgelopen jaren vrijwel gelijk is. Het zakelijk gebruik van tablets neemt verder af. Opvallend is de snelle stijging van het gebruik van Windows 10 als operating system. Dit blijkt uit een marktanalyse van <a href=\"https:\/\/smartprofile.io\">Smart Profile<\/a>, waarbij\u00a0 4.552 Belgische bedrijven met meer dan 50 werknemers werden ondervraagd. Deze analyse is ook gepubliceerd bij <a href=\"https:\/\/www.computable.be\/artikel\/achtergrond\/infrastructuur\/6771096\/5594136\/visterin-verdiept-is-opmars-laptop-voorbij.html\">Computable<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Van het totale aantal eindgebruikerssystemen neemt de desktop nog altijd de koppositie in met 56 procent. Dit is zeer kleine daling ten opzichte van een jaar eerder (57%). De stijging van het aantal laptops, gemeten sinds 2011, lijkt de afgelopen twee jaar gestagneerd. Zowel in 2018 als in 2019 is er sprake van een aandeel van 35 procent. Na een tijdelijke toename sinds 2013, neemt het aantal tablets als eindgebruikerssysteem zeer licht af (van 2% naar 1,8%).<\/p>\n<p>Het aantal bedrijven dat desktops gebruikt is het afgelopen jaar gedaald van 92 procent in 2018 naar 89 procent in 2019. Opvallend is dat in de manufacturing sector het meest gebruik wordt gemaakt van desktops (93%) gevolgd door het onderwijs (92%). In de IT, Telecom &amp; utilities-sector is dit aandeel het laagst met 77 procent. In deze sector wordt daarentegen wel het meest met laptops gewerkt (95%). In 2016 maakten 27 procent van de bedrijven gebruik van een tablet, dit aantal nam af naar 22 procent in 2018 en is in 2019 nog slechts 19 procent. De overheidssector is hierbij een uitzondering. Hoewel er sprake is van een lichte afname is de penetratie nog altijd 28 procent. De grootste krimp is waarneembaar binnen de financial &amp; business services: van 33 procent in 2016 naar 18 procent in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Net zoals voorgaande jaren zijn de tablets van Apple het populairst. Het aandeel van de fabrikant neemt slechts licht af van 66 procent in 2018 naar 65 procent dit jaar. Samsung is aan een opmars bezig. Het aandeel zakelijke tablets van de Zuid-Koreaanse vendor stijgt met 5 procent ten opzichte van een jaar eerder. Ook in de laptopmarkt scoren HPE en Dell goed met respectievelijk 43,7 en 34,6 procent. HPE zet hiermee in dit segment de gestage groei sinds 2011 door. Bij de thin clients wordt de top-3 als volgt verdeeld: HPE met 38,6 procent, Dell met 35,3 procent en IGEL met 15,4 procent. Het aandeel van lGEL neemt echter voor het eerste sinds 2015 af.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sterke stijging voor Windows 10<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>2019 lijkt het jaar te worden van de doorbraak voor Windows 10 als operating system. In 2018 werd door 48 procent van de bedrijven gebruik gemaakt van Windows 10, in 2019 is dit gestegen naar 67 procent. Hiermee zit het Windows-7 op de hielen, dat op een haar na met 71 procent nog wel het meest ge\u00efnstalleerde operating system blijft. De IT, telecom &amp; utilities-sector (82%) en het onderwijs (80%) lopen voorop, terwijl de gezondheidszorg (56%) een opvallende achterblijver is.
