Mij is gevraagd om iets te vertellen over onze begintijd. Ikzelf ben overigens meer van het vooruit kijken en niet zo van het terugkijken. We zijn gestart onder de naam; Computer Profile. Samen met Harry van der Lint en Margje de Groot zijn we begonnen in het business centre in Oudenbosch. Die zette toen de markt op zijn kop met het direct leveren van PC&#8217;s aan eindgebruiker. Er werden toen voorspellingen van een potenti\u00eble groei gedaan die me toen ongelooflijk leken. Dat doet mij nog vaak terugdenken aan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TNwhIHqM60g\">deze video<\/a>. Inmiddels weet ik beter en is het mobieltje razendsnel geadopteerd. Nu kun je dat wellicht ook vergelijken met de voorspelling met welke snelheid het elektrificeren van de wagenparken gaat gebeuren. Niemand wist precies wat het was, maar je moest wel zorgen dat je in deze technologie-trein zat. Het was de tijd van World Online en de Dot-com bubble. Onze klanten waren alleen maar ge\u00efnteresseerd wanneer hun bedrijf de IPO (Initial Public Offering) zou gaan doen en ze allemaal miljonair zouden worden. Begin deze eeuw spatte de zeepbel echter volledig uit elkaar en kwam de ICT- markt in een recessie. Wellicht is deze hype wel te vergelijken met de Bitcoin manie die er nu is. Deze organisaties hebben het digitale landschap drastische veranderd. Diskettes en etiketten behoorden tot het verleden. Ze hebben nog steeds problemen met hun CRM-systeem.\u00a0Nog steeds willen marketing en sales weten hoe groot hun markt is en waar deze markt zich bevindt. De manier waarop we nu data verzamelen en distribueren is veranderd, maar uiteindelijk zijn onze klanten nog steeds op zoek hoe hun (sales) potentieel te realiseren.
