Aan een grote groep toehoorders vertelde Michiel Alkemade, directeur van Smart Profile, over de ICT-markt, de grote opportuniteiten voor cloud service providers, en hoe het staat met diversiteit. Ook werd er een mooi bedrag overhandigd aan Peter van Uhm, ambassadeur van <a href=\"https:\/\/smartprofile.io\/nl\/over-ons\/wij-steunen-stichting-hulphond\/\">Stichting Hulphond Nederland<\/a>. Maar bovenal was het een gezellig samenkomen van leveranciers, resellers en IT-beslissers. <!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Cloud Service Providers<\/h3>\n<p>Het middagprogramma van het Dutch IT Society event was onderverdeeld in twee tracks: het eindgebruikers- en het channelprogramma. Michiel Alkemade vertelde tijdens dit laatste onderdeel over de nieuwe rol van het kanaal. Steeds meer organisaties verplaatsen (een deel) van hun IT-omgeving naar de cloud. In de afgelopen zeven jaar is het gebruik van cloud-oplossingen voor bedrijfsapplicaties gestegen van 6 naar 65 procent en het aantal on-premise servers is in diezelfde periode met ongeveer de helft gedaald. Het aantal aanbieders van cloud-services,<a href=\"https:\/\/smartprofile.io\/nl\/oplossingen\/data\/cloud-service-provider-database\/\"> de Cloud Service Providers (CSP&#8217;s), is logischerwijs navenant gestegen. Maar hoe groot is die markt nu precies? Computer Profile start dit najaar met een grootschalig en innovatief marktonderzoek naar dienstenaanbod, investeringen en trends in dit snel evoluerende landschap.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Debat over diversiteit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ook vertelde Alkemade over de verhouding van mannen en vrouwen binnen verschillende beroepsgroepen en dan voornamelijk in de IT.
